Choir
"Where Words Fail, Music Speaks . . ."
At FBC, we value the power of music in our lives. If you feel as we do (and you enjoy singing!), why not consider joining our choir?
Each week, many hours are spent preparing the diverse, meaningful music that enhances Sunday worship. Our choir is an important part of this experience!
We encourage all parts and talent levels to join our choir community. Each section is fitted with a paid professional to make singing more accommodating. Choir members should plan to arrive at First Baptist at 10:30am Sunday mornings for rehearsal.

Our weekly time of reflection and exploration of Scripture.
Our weekly time of reflection and exploration of Scripture and God's revelation. This is where we engage God in community and ask the "big questions".
Bible Study is facilitated by our pastoral staff on Wednesdays at 6pm and on zoom. See Events for details.

Emmanuel Ministries
In partnership with Resurrection Church and Small Things-Philly, you can join us every week in bringing food, love, and light to those suffering from homelessness and food insecurity.
The First Baptist community joins together every first Saturday to bring stellar meals to all who are hungry. Other Saturdays are covered by partners, but don't hesitate to join them--the work is much needed, and very rewarding!
